HEROES of NEWERTH (HON) GAMEPLAY
Each game of Heroes of Newerth pits two teams of 1 to 5 players, called the Legion and Hellbourne, against each other. Each player selects a single hero to play from a pool of sixty, via one of several selection rotations. During the match, heroes will gain experience and gold by destroying enemy NPC units, players or structures, and customize their character with skills and items as the game progresses. The gameplay consists of each team "pushing" a lane of creeps toward an enemy tower and destroying it, each lane contains three towers which must be destroyed in order to make the barracks structures in the enemy base vulnerable to attack. Once a barracks is destroyed, the team that destroyed it gains mega creeps in that lane, these are a more powerful version of standard NPC's that give less gold when killed. A game ends either when one of the teams' loses its two inner most towers and the main structure is destroyed - either the Tree of Life for the Legion, or the Sacrifical Pit of the Hellbourne. A team may also concede at any point beyond fifteen minutes into the match.

DOTA ORIGIN

DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) is basically a map made specifically for WC3: The Frozen Throne. The map was initially developed by Eul which known as a mapmaker itself. During that time, a number of variations were being done. Later on a named Guinsoo continue the works, improved the map until it become popular. However, Guinsoo’s time had come to an end too and another person named IceFrog took over the place and currently the main programmer of the DOTA MAP. Who’s the lucky next?

Now let’s play DOTA…It is actually a 1v1 up to 5v5 versus game. Where the players can select hero from both sides, the "Sentinel" (known to be the good heroes) or "Scourge" (known us corrupted heroes). There were stories that will explain how these heroes went on separate allies. Meanwhile, to win the game each team should push and destroy towers all the way down to the main tower at the center of each rival base. But it is not that easy as you thought. At first all heroes were level 1, by killing opposing heroes and creeps they will gain gold and be upgraded until level 25. In addition, each hero can gain 4 types of skills as they level-up and the skills can also be upgraded 4X. The accumulated gold can be used for buying items that improve Hero's attributes. There are only 6 slots allotted for each hero so only 6 items can be carried. Some items can also be upgraded going forward on the battles. Thus, the more hero and/or creeps you killed the faster the level-up you’ll make and the more money you can get for buying better items. But extra care is also important as you will lose gold when you get killed. DOTA is more victorious by team work than solo or selfish play. A good combo and teamwork of skills by each team hero will mostly overwhelm the opponents in every clash until the end game. So what are you waiting for, go play Dota and sure you'll have fun! Tauren Cgieftain (Cairne Bloodhoof)

Since ancient times it has been prophesized by the Tauren elders that a Chieftain will come, strong as the mightiest warriors and wise as the eldest shamans. After many years of wandering the sacred lands, seeking wisdom from his forefathers, Cairne Bloodhoof has proven himself as the long awaited hero. Cairne carries with him the spirit of his mightiest ancestor, and now the ground shakes with the combined strength of the Chieftain and his guardian spirit. No physical nor magical barrier can reduce the power of his enchanted halberd, the weapon used by his guardian in ancient times. Such is the power of this axe that it can split the very earth itself. Seeking revenge for the ravaging of his homeland, Cairne will soon bring his wrath upon the Scourge.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 128)
1.)Echo Stomp - Calls upon the spirit of his ancestors to join him in an earth-shattering echo, rendering nearby foes unconscious. The spirit and Tauren Chieftain both deal 80 damage in the area, the Spirit dealing magical damage and the physical form dealing physical damage. Unconscious enemies will wake if they get hit. If the spirit is separated from you, it will still perform its part of the spell. 1.4 second cast time.
2.)Ancestral Spirit - The Tauren Chieftain sends forth his guardian ancestor to bring ruin upon his foes. While separate from the Chieftain, the spirit will mimic his movement and damage any unit it passes through. When it rejoins the Chieftain, it grants him bonus damage and movement speed for each enemy it has struck.
3.)Natural Order - The Tauren Chieftain uses wisdom gathered throughout the ages to reduce everything to its most basic level. Removes base Magic and Physical resistance.
4.)Earth Splitter - Using his mighty axe, the Tauren Chieften rends the very earth itself, sending a jagged crack under the feet of his enemies. After several seconds the earth implodes, sending his foes tumbling inwards. Any unit caught in the implosion will take damage based on their maximum life and have their speed slowed for a short time. Implodes after 3 seconds. Deals 35% of a unit's maximum HP.

Batrider (Jin'zakk)

Once an expendable spy, Jin'zakk has outlived the suicidal tendencies of other Bat Riders to create a unique style, one that favours control and precision instead of wanton destruction. His years of battle experience have allowed him to innovate creative uses for his fiery arts: He can douse enemies in a bath of sticky oil that restricts their movements before igniting it, fire an explosive that blows enemies away, or take flight to leave behind a trail of flame. However, his most deadly skill involves lassoing his opponent and dragging the unfortunate foe into the arms of his allies.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack rAdd Imageange of 375)
1.)Sticky Napalm - Targets an area and drenches it in very sticky oil. Amplifies any fire damage and slows the movement speed and turn rate of units in that area. Extra casts of this on the same targets stack up to 10 times.
2.)Flamebreak - Hurls a highly explosive cocktail of dangerous chemicals at the target position. Upon impacting with an enemy the missile explodes, dealing damage and knocking all nearby foes away from the impact. Any unit who has been Napalmed will take additional damage from the blast.
3.)Firefly - Flies high leaving a burning trail behind. Enemies who dare follow will get burned by the fiery napalm. Nothing can take the skies from him. Lasts 15 seconds.
4.)Flaming Lasso - Snags a target with a constricting lasso, allowing the Batrider to drag them behind him as he moves. Does not drag units onto impassable terrain. Teleporting or blinking will break the lasso.

Shadow Shaman (Rhasta)

Once a gifted troll witch doctor, young Rhasta was well versed with the secrets of voodoo magic. When the war between the Sentinel and the Scourge began, Rhasta, then a Shadow Hunter, offered his allegiance to the Sentinels to vanquish the Scourge once and for all. While he was gifted as a witch doctor, Rhasta is a genius as a shadow hunter, exceeding his master by mastering the art of summoning multiple serpent wards, binding enemies for a short time and casting elemental lightning to several units.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 500)
1.)Forked Lightning - Calls forth a cone of lightning, hitting multiple enemy units for damage.
2.)Voodoo - Transforms an enemy unit into a random critter, disabling special abilities.
3.)Shackles - Magically binds a target enemy, so that it cannot move or attack. Deals 40 damage per second.
4.)Mass Serpent Ward - Summons 8 immobile serpentine wards to attack enemies. The wards are immune to magic.

Witch Doctor (Vol'Jin)

Vol'Jin is a risk-taker. Anyone who has ever crossed paths with him can tell you that. As a voodoo priest, you need a certain degree of it. It's too bad he never learned the value of discretion. Vol'Jin's experiments in jungle magic yielded brilliant results- the ability to mend wounds, casks filled with paralyzing combinations of herbs that could scatter for miles, and even a curse capable of stripping the life force from a living being. Of course, no amount of power gained goes without notice. As Vol'Jin's experiments became more and more unstable and destructive, the Lich King made his move.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 600)
1.)Paralyzing Cask - Vol'jin launches a cask of paralyzing powder that bounces between foes, stunning those affected for a short period of time (1 sec on Hero, 5 on creeps). Deals damage per bounce to non-hero units. First impact lasts 1.5 seconds.
2.)Voodoo Restoration - Vol'jin focuses his voodoo magic to heal nearby allied units.
3.)Maledict - Targets an area with an ancient voodoo curse. Cursed heroes will not only take damage over time, but they will be dealt bonus damage every 4 seconds based on how much hp they lost since the beginning of the curse. Lasts 12 seconds
4.)Death Ward - Summons a deadly ward to attack enemy heroes.

Twin Head Dragon (Jakiro)

Originally found gnawing at the roots of the World Tree during an excavation, this magnificent Chimaera's age is impossible to determine. With his large snapping heads and aggressive, unpredictable behavior, Jakiro is an intimidating creature to say the least, yet is loyal to the Sentinel for reasons all his own. Due to his mystical nature, he has a strange affinity with the elemental forces of ice and fire. This allows him to devastate all in his path, and he is more than capable of keeping his opponents in his line of fury. The Scourge would do best to be wary of this dragon, lest they all freeze and shatter as their precious Frozen Throne melts before their eyes.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 400)
1.)Dual Breath - Jakiro's twin heads let loose an icy blast followed closely by a wave of fire, each dealing initial damage. Enemy units are both slowed and dealt fire damage per second for 4 seconds.
2.)Ice Path - Creates a path of ice in front of Jakiro. After 0.5 second, the path explodes and freezes nearby enemy units.
3.)Liquid Fire - Straight from the belly of the beast, Jakiro slowly harnesses Liquid Fire when he attacks to burn his victims (175 AoE), and slow their attacks. Lasts 5 seconds. This affects units and buildings.
4.)Macropyre - Jakiro unleashes a line of pulsing flame strikes in front of him. Each flame strike deals damage per second for 5 seconds, and has a 200 AOE radius. Distance increases per level.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 600)
1.)Split Earth - Splits the earth under your enemies' feet. Deals damage and stuns for a short duration.
2.)Diabolic Edict - Saturates the area around Leshrac with magic, causing random explosions to enemies.Lasts 8 seconds.
3.)Lightning Storm - Calls a lightning storm that hits nearby enemies.
4.)Pulse Nova - Summons a Pulse Nova every second to damage nearby enemies.

Tinker (Boush)

Goblin engineering was always innovative, but Boush brought it to such extreme that most refuse to believe that his powers lie in machines and rather think that he fights with magic. He can shoot focused light and homing projectiles as powerful and as flashy as most destructive Elven Arcane spells. It is said that not even best Necromancers can raise armies comparable to seemingly endless amount of clockwork goblins that Boush can easily summon. And while some refuse to believe in his machinery skills and other call him the master artist of engineering, none can deny the destructive force of this goblin.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 500)
1.)Laser - Fires an intense beam of light at a target, dealing damage and blinding all in the area for 9 seconds. Deals precise damage.
2.)Heat Seeking Missile - The Tinker fires a rocket at the nearest visible enemy hero. Range of 2500.
3.)March of the Machines - Calls in hordes of robotic goblins to destroy your enemies.
4.)Rearm - Instantly reloads the Tinker's weapons.

Shadow Priest (Dazzle)

Little is known to the Shadowtooth Clan, likely because this group of shadowy trolls never unveil the secrets of their mystifying sacrament. Nevertheless, the Loa they worship is much more powerful than most elementals, thus their favors must be kept in confidentiality. In return, these Primal Gods granted these trolls the power over paralyzing toxins, life-bending voodoo, and even endowment of life beyond the grave. A living eternity of death and misery, Dazzle now marches within the ranks of the undead, announcing the apocalypse of the Scourge that may lead them to much anticipated ascendancy.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 500)
1.)Poison Touch - A poisonous magic is placed on an enemy unit causing it to move slowly becoming paralyzed. The longer the poison takes to set in, the slower the unit will become. After the poison sets in, it takes physical damage per second for 7 seconds. Target moves slower per level.
2.)Shallow Grave - Shallow Grave prevents any damage from killing the targeted hero for 5 seconds.
3.)Shadow Wave - Sends forth a Shadow Wave to heal a few units. Healed units also damage a small area around them for the same amount. Dissipated damage is Physical.
4.)Weave - A powerful shadow magic used to increase or decrease defenses over time. Changes armor by 1 every second. Affects allied and enemy heroes in a 600 AOE.

Ogre Magi (Aggron Stonebreaker)

Ogres, a race bred to be warriors, have no experience with the arcane arts, leaving Aggron, who was born with a rare affinity to magic, without guidance regarding his innate abilities. His own force of will harnesses his talent to produce elemental flames and explosions that consume his opponents. Being a natural warrior, he reaches into his own aggression to fuel his comrades' lust for battle. His savage, untapped magical potential is prone to fiery outbursts which enhance the potency of his spells. A towering force built on strength and magic, Aggron is honored by his people and feared by his enemies.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100)
1.)Fireblast - Blasts an enemy unit with a wave of fire. Deals intense damage and stuns for 1.5 seconds.
2.)Ignite - Drenches a target in volatile chemicals, causing it to burst into flames. The target is in immense pain, taking damage and move more slowly. Lasts 7.5 seconds.
3.)Bloodlust - Incites a frenzy in a friendly unit, increasing its movement speed and attack speed.Lasts 30 seconds.
4.)Multi Cast - Enables the Ogre Magi to rapidly cast his spells, giving them greater potency. Gives a chance to cast a spell multiple times in one cast.

Necro'lic (Visage)

A terrifying spirit created by uniting a thousand of souls of the warriors fell in the War of the Magi; Visage roams this world with never-ending thirst for souls. This restless ghost consumes the essence of the enemies he slays, and the death moan of his victims is what he enjoys the most. The weakening power of his wrath puts even the greatest warriors in misery, and the sight of sky filled with Visage and his undead minions is unimaginable. He is a nightmare in its worst, most sickening form, a true living horror, the Necro'lic.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 600)
1.)Grave Chill - Visage drains the life from a target, slowing its attack and move speed. He then gets bonuses equal to those drained. Lasts 10 seconds.
2.)Soul Assumption - Units that die near Visage regenerate him and give him 6 bonus damage. Enemies denies don't count. Lasts 30 seconds.
3.)Gravekeeper's Cloak - Causes any damage taken by Visage to be reflected and changed to heal all allies in an 800 AoE.
4.)Raise Revenants - Raises a revenant from a corpse.

Invoker (Kael)

Quas. Wex. Exort. The essence of a storm. The heart of a blizzard. The soul of a phoenix. He can fuse the elements into deadly incantations, tearing apart the very heavens in his fury. His genius knows no bounds, and the Sentinel shall come to know the rage of the Invoker.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 600)
1.)Quas - 0.75 HP regen per level per instance.
2.)Wex - Gives 2% AS and 1% MS per level per instance.
3.)Exort - 3 damage per level per instance.
4.)Invoke - Combines the properties of the elements currently being manipulated, creating a new spell at Invokers disposal. The invoked spell is determined by the combination of Quas, Wex and Exort.

Goblin Techies (Squee Spleen and Spoon)

Devilishly clever, the goblin techies, despite their small physical presence, are a force to be reckoned with. In line with their goblin brethren, the techies have the skill of laying mines in the earth, invisible to the naked eye. Also, after extensive training with the Orcish voodoo priests of Kalimdor, the Techies are adept at laying paralysis-inducing traps along with their potent explosives. Wary be the foe who takes these three lightly.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 650)
1.)Land Mines - Plants an invisible mine that explodes when an enemy nears. The explosion deals less damage if the target is farther away. You may only have 15 mines placed at a time.
2.)Stasis Trap - Plants an invisible Stasis Trap that stuns nearby enemy units when detonated.
3.)Suicide Squad, Attack! - Sacrifice yourself for the greater good. Deals massive area of effect damage.
4.)Remote Mines - Plants an invisible mine that will only activate when triggered. Doesn't damage buildings. Lasts 8 minutes.

Tidehunter

Greatest of the sea giants, Leviathan was sealed away in the aftermath of the war between the Old Gods and the Titans in ancient times. Now released by the Lich King to aid in his crusade against the Sentinel, he cleaves through waves of enemies with his mighty anchor, breaking enemy sieges before they even begin. As terrible a foe on land as he is in water, those who stand before the Tidehunter are swept away in a sea of spikes, eviscerated as he closes in to pulverize those left to receive his wrath.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100)
1.)Gush - Summons a spirit of the tides to damage an enemy unit. Reduces the movement speed by 40% and armor of the enemy unit.Lasts 4 seconds.
2.)Kraken Shell - Creates a thick armor shell around Leviathan that protects him against attacks. Additionally, this ability occasionally removes negative buffs.
3.)Anchor Smash - Leviathan swings his mighty anchor with a vengeance. Gives a 20% chance to deal bonus damage to nearby enemies.
4.)Ravage - Slams the ground, causing waves of spikes to ring the hero in all directions. Deals damage and stuns. Area increases per level.

Spiritbreaker

An outcast of the Spirithoof clan, Barathrum retreated in shame to the Ethereal Plane, feeding off wandering souls to sustain himself, and wandered aimlessly for centuries, alone and miserable. Found and recruited by the Lich King, Barathrum's uncanny speed and wraithlike powers have now been unleashed upon the Material Plane, his lantern able to project nether energy into enemies, sending them backwards with sudden force. With the ability to close the distance between himself and a target in seconds, Barathrum the Spiritbreaker is more than a match for anyone.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100)
1.)Charge of Darkness - Barathrum fixes his sight on an enemy and accelerates towards it. When you reach maximum speed, you will become immune to magic. As you increase speed, you begin to merge with the shadows around you, becoming difficult to see until you stop the Charge or hit your target. Upon leaving the shadows, Barathrum shocks his opponent into an immobile state for some time. Enemy can only see buff indicator when you are near it.
2.)Empowering Haste - Causes the Spiritbreaker to swing his weapon faster with higher movement speed, allowing him to deal extra damage. His presence increases the movement speed of nearby allied units.
3.)Greater Bash - Gives a 17% chance to bash enemies across the ground, doing more initial damage and damage as they skid.
4.)Nether Strike - Moves you next to your target doing extra damage. Performs a greater bash hit. Casting range improves per level.

Crixalis

A guardian of the ancient Nerubian Kingdom of Azjol-Nerub, Crixalis fled to the deserts of Kalimdor in an attempt to escape the genocide of the Lich King. The harsh climate transformed this warrior into a master of the earth, able to tear the skin off his foes with vicious sand storms. Those unfortunate to succumb to his potent toxins are condemned to violently burst apart in a cloud of noxious fumes. Sensing his growing power, the Lich King sought out Crixalis and unable to sway him, slew him in battle. Summoned to aid the Undead Scourge, the heart of the Sentinel quivers each time the ground trembles beneath them.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 128)
1.)Burrowstrike - The Sand King burrows into the ground and tunnels forward, impaling everything above him, then resurfaces.
2.)Sand Storm - Sand King creates a fearsome Sand Storm. The storm blinds his enemies and he becomes invisible to them. The storm also causes his opponents to take damage.
3.)Caustic Finale - Each of the Sand King's attacks injects a deadly venom that causes the target to explode violently on death, dealing damage in an area.
4.)Epicenter - Sends a disturbance into the earth, causing it to shudder violently. All caught within range will take damage and become slowed. The closer to the epicenter, the more damage taken.

Sacred Warrior

The Trolls of the Darkspear tribe, long since exiled from their ancestral lands in Stranglethorn Vale, are considered by many to be the most savage race of creatures to ever grace the battlefield. This reputation is well earned by their Sentinel representative Huskar, who's abilities revolve around shortening his own lifespan to spear his foes to burning pieces. Considered a blessed martyr by his people, the Sacred Warrior is not afraid of death, and will even run towards it willingly, sometimes desperately, in order to bring the Undead Scourge to an end.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 400)
1.)Inner Vitality - Magically unlocks the potential regenerative power within a target unit, healing its life force based upon its primary attribute. If the target is below 40% it will heal faster. Lasts 16 seconds.
2.)Burning Spear - Using his own life force to set them aflame, the Sacred Warrior can cause his spears to deal stackable damage over time as they impact the foe. Cannot cast if Huskar's HP is lower than 100. Stacks indefinetly. Lasts 6 seconds.
3.)Berserker's Blood - Huskar feels each of his wounds and channels the pain, increasing attack speed and damage for each 7% missing health. 7 Max bonuses. First bonus starts at full health.
4.)Life Break - Huskar reaches into the well of his own life force to heavily damage an enemy. The target takes damage equal to 50% of its hp. Slows target by 50% for 5 seconds. Huskar pays a certain percentage of his hp to cast this.

Magnataur

Maybe the most tremendous being on the Scourge, Magnus is a power to be reckoned with. Trained from birth to become a potent warrior, he is now at the peak of his strength. The Magnataur's giant axe can cleave paths through his enemies, and create a bone-breaking shockwave that ripples through the ground. Further strengthened by a demonic magic that enhances his attacks, he can crush enemies with shocking ease. His greatest power, though, is the ability to create an immensely strong magnetic field, sucking in helpless foes to meet their end.
HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100)
1.)Shockwave - A wave of force ripples out from the Hero, causing damage to land units in a line.
2.)Empower - Increases attack damage for a friendly unit.
3.)Mighty Swing - Magnus' halberd swings in a mighty arc, damaging all enemies in a fairly wide circle. Targets beside the primary take less damage.
4.)Reverse Polarity - Through some unknown property of matter, the Magnataur sucks all nearby enemies to his position and stuns them with a powerful slam, dealing damage.

Dragon Knight

Rattletrap

The by-product of Goblin technological weapon research during the old War, Rattletrap the Clockwerk Goblin was shut away into storage for countless decades until the Sentinel found and reactivated him. Combat-wise, this goblin's capabilities know few bounds; his body is stocked with a huge array of armaments that destroy targets both near and far with ease. His trademark wrench can even extend itself like a grappling hook, allowing him to pick off individual targets with pin-point accuracy.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 125)
1.)Battery Assault - Discharges high-powered shrapnel from openings in Rattletrap's clockwork upon a random nearby target dealing minor magical damage and ministun every 0.75 seconds. Lasts 10 seconds .
2.)Power Cog - The Clockwerk Goblin ejects pieces of inner core to form a circular barrier around himself, trapping nearby units in with him. These cogs require 3 attacks from an enemy to be destroyed before their expiration time. If an enemy unit with mana goes near an element from the outside it gets shocked for some hp and mana and is knocked back. An element powers down if it shocks a unit.
3.)Rocket Flare - Fires a fast moving missile at a target area on the map, revealing the targeted area. Upon impact it damages enemy units in the 600 AOE explosion.
4.)Hookshot - Fires a grappling, piston-like attachment at a unit or location. It will latch on the first non-neutral enemy target it encounters, pulling you to it. Any enemies whom you collide with while being reeled toward the target will take damage and be stunned.

Bristleback

The quillboars were never interested in the affairs and wars of other races, but one knew that the Scourge would eventually descend on their lands if left unchecked. Entering the ranks of the Sentinel for the sole reason of the preservation of his tribe, Rigwarl brings primal instincts to the never ending battle. Each time he releases a flurry of quills or a glob of slime, he works himself into a frenzy that increases his effectiveness drastically, and should he be in danger, his bristle back would shield him from further harm. A perfect demonstration of the abilities that even lesser beings can unleash.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100)
1.)Viscous Nasal Goo - Covers a target in snot, causing it to have reduced armor and movement speed. Casts on the same target are cumulative. Lasts 5 seconds.
2.)Quill Spray - Sprays enemy units with quills dealing damage in a 650 AoE. Deals 30 extra damage everytime a unit is struck by a quill in the last 10 seconds. Damage type is physical.
3.)Bristleback - Rigwarl covers his back in spines, causing him to take reduced damage. Automatically releases a quill spray whenever his rear receives 250 damage.
4.)Warpath - Everytime Rigwarl casts a spell, he works himself into a fury. Movement and Attack speeds increase on repeated spell casts. Lasts 10 seconds. Stacks up to 4 times.

Razzil Darkbrew

Having enlisted under the ranks of the Sentinel for mere personal gain, the Alchemist's quest for amassing wealth to fund his research is a tireless and relentless one. Both sadistic and cruel in his methods, this heartless Goblin cares not for the means he must resort to for a sizeable bounty. Whether he chooses to paralyze his foes with toxic concoctions or drench them in corrosive acids, Razzil Darkbrew remains steadfast in his calm, calculated approach, despite their constant wails of agony. Though notoriously famed to be inhumane and savage in his actions, he succeeds in crippling the mighty Scourge with the vilest of elixirs.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 128)
1.)Acid Spray - Sprays high-pressure acid across a target area. Hostile units who step across the contaminated terrain take physical damage per second and have their armor reduced. Lasts 16 seconds.
2.)Unstable Concoction - Taking a few moments to shake up some chemical vials, the Alchemist lobs one at the target, stunning and damaging it based on how long he shook it up (60 dmg, 1 sec stun per second channel). Casting range improves per level.
3.)Goblin's Greed - The Goblin converts the creep's corpse into gold. You get more gold for every extra creep you killed in the last 18 seconds. Gives successive bonus gold. Cap of 18 extra gold.
4.)Chemical Rage - The Alchemist causes his Ogre to enter a chemically induced rage reducing base attack cooldown, increasing movement speed and increasing hitpoints and regeneration. Lasts 25 seconds.

Shendelzare Silkwood

Once a mighty warden and sister of Mortred, the maniacal laughter of her sibling and the chakram of hers covered in her own just drawn blood is a sight that even today still haunts Shendelzare. Hearing the laments of her loyal daughter, Elune decided to not forsake her, and she graced her with a new body along with the ability to harness powers from the nether-world and a fighting spirit only owned by those who have met death itself. Shendelzare now dedicates herself for vengeance, fearless of what could come at her, an avatar of the dreadful emotions within the soul of her former self.

Ursa Warrior

Before the invasion of the Scourge, a race of intelligent bears called furbolgs cultivated a quiet spiritual society deep in the heart of Azshara. With most of their kind murdered and corrupted by the Undead, the normally isolated furbolgs were forced to flee to the Sentinel for protection. In revenge, the furbolgs have sent their mightiest Ursa Warrior into battle on those who dare to disturb them again. Enraged by the defilement of his people's sacred land, Ulfsaar is able to channel his fury into a series of extremely quick and brutal swipes, using his razor-sharp claws to overpower his foes and literally tear them apart.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100)
1.)Earthshock - Slams the ground, dealing damage to and slowing the movement speed of nearby enemy land units. Lasts 4 seconds.
2.)Overpower - Sends Ulfsaar into a rage until he can expend his energy on a target. 400% increased attack speed. Lasts up to 15 seconds or when his attack limit is reached.
3.)Fury Swipes - Each attack opens the wound deeper in the target, causing subsequent attacks to deal increased damage.
4.)Enrage - When activated, greatly increases Ulfsaar's damage based on his current life.

Templar Assassin

The apprentice of a legendary creature from Aiur, Lanaya is a psychic adept who specializes in strategic assassination for the Sentinels. Her psionic abilities manifest in and out of combat, and can be used to amplify damage while attacking, to protect her from enemy assault, or cloak herself invisibly before lashing out at an unfortunate passerby. And so more often than not, the foes that encounter the Templar on the battlefield find themselves dead and buried, their lives cut short as she fades back into the shadows, waiting for a new prey.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 140)
1.) Refraction - Manipulating psionic energy around herself granting a mystical refraction of light that protects her from external harm and giving her bonus damage for a limited number of instances.
2.) Meld - The art of Shakuras allows Lanaya to conceal herself at any time of the day and strike from the shadows with her armor-shredding blades. Deals bonus damage and reduces enemy armor for 10 seconds.
3.) Psi Blades - Using her psionic powers, the Templar causes enemy units behind her target to feel the same pain as the target itself. This psionic power extends her attack range. 4.) Psionic 4.) Trap - Creates psionic traps on ground. When triggered, it will slow units within 400 range by 50%.

Gorgon

An insidious creature that dwelled for eons in the underwater prisons of Nazjatar, the Gorgon was unwittingly freed during the war waged between King Arthas's Scourge and the Naga on the icy shores of Northrend. Plagued by undeath in the aftermath, Medusa welcomed the blessing of immortality. Gifted with a keen sense of archery and affinity to magic at birth, she has honed her skills over the ages – striking multiple foes with a single volley of arrows, debilitating them with jolts of lightning, and even conjuring a protective barrier of mana. Like her namesake, Medusa instills paralyzing fear into all that dare cross her path.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 600)
1.) Split Shot - Medusa magically splits her shot into four arrows. These arrows deal a lower percent of her normal damage.
2.) Mystic Snake - A mystic snake made of energy jumps from target to target dealing damage and stealing some energy. After it reaches its last target, it jumps back to Medusa to replenish it with mana. The snake deals more damage and steals more mana per jump. The snake's power is increased by 20% each jump.
3.) Mana Shield - Creates a shield that absorbs 50% of the incoming damage by using Medusa's mana.
4.) Stone Gaze - Any enemy units staring at the Gorgon will slowly turn to stone, removing status buffs and slowing all speed properties. Deals more damage to summoned units per level.

Lightning Revenant

Razor is lightning incarnate. It is a living being, capable only of unleashing it's tremendous electrical power to anything and everything nearby. The only indication of sentience from it is its ability to control its surges, which never seems to actually strike any it would call friend. Like its namesake, it cuts to the bone, with speed and accuracy, sometimes jumping from one thing to another. It's unnatural form gives it speed, and a thirst for blood. It is a force to be reckoned with, and only the strong dare face it.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 475)
1.)Plasma Field - Razor releases a wave energetic plasma which grows in power as it extends outwards. Deals damage to units both on expansion and on contraction. The further the plasma is from razor the more energy it has.
2.)Static Link - Taps into the energy of a target hero, creating a charged link between Razor and his foe. As long as this link is maintained, Razor will continue to steal damage from the target and adds it to his own. Drains up to 10 seconds. Bonus lasts 13 seconds after that.
3.)Unstable Current - Razor's very body is a constantly shifting miasma of dark energy. This unnatural state allows him to move with supernatural speed, and any foe foolish enough to launch a direct magical assault against him will have their boldness rewarded with a shock of purging electricity.
4.)Eye of the Storm - The Lightning Revenant calls upon a powerful storm of crackling energy, which strikes weakened enemies with deadly bolts of lightning. The storm is charged with Razor's malevolent will, and will seek out only the most injured targets for its armor shattering blasts.

GEOMANCER

Originally worshipped by the pagan tribes of Germania and the black forests that encompassed it, Meepo is a mischievous spirit of the earth who enjoys burying his enemies alive in mountains of rock spikes, pinning them down into helplessness as he pummels them into submission with his mighty shovel. The most disturbing of the Geomancer's powers, however, is his ability to separate his being into multiple selves, each as powerful as the original and making him potentially four times the trouble for the unlucky who encounter him.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100)
1.) Earthbind - Rains earthen spikes across a target area, pinning down all enemy units in the 225 AOE. Lasts 2 seconds.
2.) Poof - Drawing mystical energies from the earth, Meepo can teleport to another Geomancer, leaving destruction in his wake. After channeling for 1.5 seconds, Meepo instantly teleports to nearest target Geomancer, dealing damage in 400 AOE in the departure and arrival locations.
3.) Geostrike - The Geomancer enchants his weapon with the essence of the earth, crushing the life from his enemies and numbing their legs. Slows target movement speed and deals damage per second. These effects are additive with other geomancers. Lasts 2 seconds.
4.) Divided We Stand - Meepo summons an imperfect, semi-autonomous duplicate of himself, which can gain gold and experience as he does and shares his experience and abilities. However, the clones cannot wield any items but the boots that Meepo himself wears. Clones gain 25% of any extra attributes the primary has. If one clone dies, they all die.

Faceless Void (Darkterror)

They say he was once human, but his background is shrouded in darkness, even to himself. What we know is that he was thrown into the Void between worlds and has emerged with the power of manipulating time. He can freeze his enemies in time and avoid hits by traveling a split-second back in time, right before receiving the blow. He can briefly rip apart the fabric of space-time to freeze both allies and opponents around him, yet remain free himself to act. It is rumored that he can instantly strike any man in a legion of soldiers, but nobody sees him move.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 128)
1.)Time Walk - Quickly moves to a target location and slows the movement and attack of all units at the end of its path for 3 seconds.
2.)Backtrack - Whenever damage is received, Faceless Void moves a moment back in time to try to dodge that damage. Can backtrack both physical and magical attacks.
3.)Time Lock - Gives a chance that an attack will do bonus damage and lock a unit in time for 1 second.
4.)Chronosphere - Faceless Void creates a rip in spacetime causing all units in that area to become trapped for its duration. Faceless Void has a mysterious connection with spacetime that causes him to be unaffected by the sphere. Casting range increases per level.

Drow Ranger (Traxex)

Traxex was a skilled archer in her oppressive underground homeland, the Underdark, until she grew sick of her kin's evil ways and fled to the surface world. As a part of her resolution, she wanders alone in the wilds, bringing her excellent marksmanship to the fray. Some of her abilities include stripping magical beings of their voices, enchanting her arrows with an icy cold, and the ability to release each arrow with much greater precision. While such powers are valuable, her true origin will never cease to linger around in the judging eyes of others.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 600)

1.)Frost Arrows - Induces a freezing effect to the hero's attacks. Each attack slows the enemy's movement and attack rates.
2.)Silence - Stops all enemies in a target area from casting spells.
3.)Trueshot Aura - An aura that gives friendly nearby units bonus damage to their ranged attacks.
4.)Marksmanship - The Ranger's accuracy has increased, giving her more agility.

Bounty Hunter (Gondar)

DOTA HERO STORY
Gondar is a Draenei that is often called upon for his superior skills. Not much is known about his past, but his capabilities are extraordinary. Some believe he learned from a ninja clan while others say he was born with his amazing abilities. He is able to throw shurikens with extreme accuracy and has the strength to strike down any foe with his two swift blades. His agility is matched by none, and his stealth is inferior only to few. He is interested in the conflict for money alone, and is promised a large reward.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 128)

1.)Shuriken Toss - The Bounty Hunter throws a shuriken at a target unit, dealing damage.
2.)Jinada - Gives a % chance to evade attacks and 15% chance to deal extra damage.
3.)Wind Walk - Turns invisible for a period of time. Deals bonus backstab damage. Transition time decreases per level.
4.)Track - Tracks an enemy hero for 30 seconds or until it dies. Allied units near the tracked target gain 20% movement speed increase. If the target dies, Bounty Hunter gets bonus gold.

Undying (Dirge)

Considered to be an exceptionally filthy and despicable specimen by all who encounter him, including his fellow zombies, Dirge has wandered in from the wastes outside to serve the Lich King in hopes of finally obtaining a place of acceptance amongst the Undead masses. While he is still considered to be unpleasant as ever by the rest of the Scourge, his horrifying abilities, which include raising lesser ghouls and spreading vile, rapidly communicable plague throughout the enemy ranks, are unquestionably powerful and may just give the Scourge the edge they need to complete their unholy conquest once and for all.
HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100, melee)

1.)Decay - Dirge saps away the strength of enemy heroes and retains it for a period of time.
2.)Soul Rip - Redirects the flow of living energy through a target friend or foe, damaging them or healing them depending on how many units are near it. 25 for each unit.
3.)Tombstone - Unholy powers summon a cursed tombstone. Zombies will frequently spawn near each enemy unit and attack them. Zombies have a passive that additively slow their target by 7%. Zombies cannot be controlled.
4.)Flesh Golem - Dirge's hatred for all living beings allows him to transform into a monster. While he's transformed he carries a plague that affects nearby enemy units. Strength of the plague depends on how close the enemy is. Amplifies damage enemy units receive and reduces their movement speed. When a plagued unit dies, its essence is transfered back to the Undying.

Slithereen Guard (Slardar)

Fanatically devoted to his cause, this Naga fought valiantly along his side until he succumbed to fatal wounds in the heat of battle. Salvation finally seemed within grasp - that is until his fate became intertwined with the grim reach of the Lich King. Reincarnated as a soulless beast without emotion, Slardar tears through the enemy lines with inhuman speed, striking them out cold with mighty blows, undeterred in his quest to fulfill Nerzhul's every whim.

Skeleton King (King Leoric)

Once a noble knight protecting his kingdom, the man was thrown into Hell, where he was ripped apart over and over for centuries. Now, Lucifer has thrown him back onto the soil, corrupted and mindless, as King Leoric, the Skeleton King. He marches on, leading his minions with an unfaltering gaze, knowing only one thing: the orders given to him by the dark lord himself. Able to cripple his opponents by drawing power from the fiery depths of hell itself, King Leoric is a major threat on the battlefield. His mighty blade allows him and others in his presence to drain the blood of their enemies. It is said that he is unkillable, and those who are struck down by his hellfire don't wake up again.

1.)Hellfire Blast - Leoric launches a sphere of hellfire from the end of his sword, causing his victim to burst into flames. Deals damage and stuns for 2 seconds.

Butcher (Pudge)

An undead behemoth seemingly impervious to even the most potent magic, this starving abomination roams the battlefield, continually in search of unwary prey. It is said his victims catch only a glimpse of his monstrous frame as they are dragged them through the shadows, bleeding profusely as a jagged hook etches deeper in their flesh. Wails of agony echo in the distance, only to be drowned out by the Butcher's maniacal laughter as he severs their limp bodies with his great maw. Unspeakable horrors ensue in a deathly silence, a dreadful omen for what is to come.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 128, ranged)

1.)Meat Hook - Launches a bloody hook at a unit or location. The hook will snag the first target it encounters, dealing damage then dragging the victim back to the Butcher.
2.)Rot - Pudge releases the disease and filth inside of him, dealing intense damage and slowing surrounding enemies while hurting Pudge as well.
3.)Flesh Heap - Pudge is made of innumerable rotting corpses, giving him extra protection against spells as well as the ability add more to his bulk.
4.)Dismember - Chows down on a target, causing excruciating pain.Lasts 3 seconds at all levels.

Pit Lord (Azgalor)

One of the many regents of Lord Archimonde who became stranded on the physical plane after the Legion fell in Kalimdor, the devil Azgalor's love of destruction allowed him to accept the Lich King's invitation to help lead the Scourge in conquest with few regrets. After all, this Pit Lord is happiest when he conjures fire to scour his opponents from above, roasting them slowly as the dead literally explode from beneath their feet. With such hateful power in the hands of a monster such as this, it's no wonder he inspires so much terror as he roams across the battlefield.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100, melee)

1.)Firestorm - Calls down 6 waves of fire that damage enemy units in an area. Each wave deals initial damage and then burns enemies for 2 seconds.
2.)Pit of Malice - A deadly pit is conjured at target location. Any unit that enters it becomes corrupted with malicious forces and are unable to move for some time.
3.)Expulsion - Ignites the rotten gases of corpses, detonating them to cause damage to any enemy within the explosion radius. Each explosion fuels another until there are no more corpses in the area. Does a ministun on damaged units.
4.)Dark Rift - Opens rifts that pass through the netherworld at his present position and a target unit simultaneously. Teleports your hero and nearby allied heroes through the rift.

Night Stalker (Balanar)

Beware, you who wonder the night. Each step you take leads you deeper in the hideous reign of the horrible ruler of the dark. Balanar, elite dreadlord who brought the total darkness of the Nether into this world, haunts these regions. Your heart will pump harder, your legs will shake, and your mind will cloud as the presence of the stalker hunts you in the dark. There's no chance to fight, no way to run, and no place to hide - darkness is everywhere! You can pray, you can cry, but the darkness won't be stopped - until you die.

1.)Void - Creates a damaging void. If cast at night, slows the target for 4 seconds.
2.)Crippling Fear - In the night, the Night Stalker can cause intense fear in enemy units, causing them to miss attacks and be unable to cast spells.

Lycanthrope (Banehallow)

Banehallow is an avatar of bestial fury created by the scourge. For years he has dwelled in the dark forests of the world, hunting innocents that wander therein. Now he is called to aid his masters. He revels in blood and battle, using his wolfish persona to draw the feral beasts to his side and imbue his allies with his flesh-shredding strength. He is also unnaturally quick and agile. Some say he can even transform into a giant wolf, giving him more durability and the speed to gouge and maim with near impunity.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100, melee)

1.)Summon Wolves - Summons 2 Spirit Wolves to fight the Lycanthrope's enemies.Lasts 55 seconds.
2.)Howl - An eerie loud howl grants an inner strength to all player controlled units. Lasts 16 seconds.
3.)Feral Impulse - Increases the attack damage and speed of the Lycanthrope and his units' .
4.)Shapeshift - A Full Moon curdles the blood of the Lycanthropy. He transforms into a Wolf with extra hit points, critical strike, and increased attack speed. This gives him and his units the ability to move at a constant maximum speed and not be slowed.

Lord of Avernus (Abaddon)

A former paladin of great renown, Abaddon fell into darkness during the invasion of the Burning Legion, becoming possessed by many demons, corrupting both his soul and his powers. Now a Death Knight set high in the Lich King's hierarchy of generals, he rides into battle against impossible odds, never stopping until he reaches the World Tree itself. Whether enhancing his own fortitude with a shield of dark energy, or using his life force to aid in combat, the Lord of Avernus leads the armies of the Scourge ever onward, forever locked in combat with the forces of good, and his enemies who were once his greatest comrades.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100, melee)

1.)Death Coil - A coil of death that can damage an enemy unit or heal a friendly unit at the cost of his own life.
2.)Aphotic Shield - Summons dark energies around an ally unit, creating a shield that absorbs a set amount of damage before expiring. When the shield is destroyed it will deal damage equal to the amount it absorbed to an area around it. Removes certain types of negative buffs on cast. Lasts 15 seconds.
3.)Frostmourne - Abaddon strickens an enemy with Frostmourne's chilling power on each attack, causing all units who attack the slowed enemy to gain 10% increased movement speed, along with faster attack speed, for a limited time.
4.)Borrowed Time - When activated, most negative buffs will be removed and any damage you take will heal you instead of damage you. If the ability is not in cooldown, it will passively activate when your hitpoints drop below 400 hp.

N'aix (Lifestealer)

There once was a man in Lordaeron so consumed by greed that he was beyond remorse. Eventually caught trying to steal Prince Arthas' sacred ring, he was tried and hanged. Yet his body, so corrupted by his desire to steal, had risen by itself in the form of a monstrous ghoul. So came into being N'aix, his old name long forgotten: the embodiment of lust and greed, bent on stealing the life of every living creature he encounters.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100, melee)

1.)Rage - N'aix goes into a maddened rage, becoming immune to magic spells and gaining increased attack speed.
2.)Feast - Regenerates a portion of enemy's current HP and deals the same portion per attack.
3.)Open Wounds - Naix rends the enemy, slowing his movement speed and allowing his allies to feast on his life force, regenerating a portion of the damage dealt. Victim slowly recovers movement speed over 8 seconds.
4.)Infest - The Lifestealer tears its way into the unfortunate body of a target unit, laying dormant and undetectable inside its living frame until he is ready to consume it and come to form. Regains health from the infested unit.

Doom Bringer (Lucifer)

Lucifer was the leader of the Doomguard attack force of the burning legion in the first attack by the dark lord Sargeras. With his original master long gone, Lucifer grants his undying loyalty to the Scourge to finish what his lord once started. Devouring the insignificant for his greed while dissipating the souls of those brave and strong enough to withstand his strength and the heat of his fiery haven of burning earth, Lucifer takes no prisoners and makes sure those who persevere through his wrath die by the agonizing and burning pain of Doom itself.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 150, melee)

1.)Devour - Swallows an enemy unit for a short period of time, digesting it and dealing minor damage. Each level decreases the cooldown and mana cost and gives bonus gold when the devoured unit is killed.
2.)Scorched Earth - Blankets the ground in flames, damaging enemies and healing the Doombringer. Also increases Lucifer's attack and movement speed.
3.)LVL? Death - Dissipates a piece of a target's soul. Deals 250 bonus damage if the target's level is a multiple of a specific number or 25.
4.)Doom - The target unit becomes inflicted with Doom. The afflicted unit cannot cast spells and will take damage per second.

Chaos Knight (Nessaj)

A disciple of Mithras, the God of Chaos, Nessaj has utilized the powers bestowed upon him to further the cause of Chaos and Evil. He stands opposed with all his might against the powers of Order and Good. He uses his ability to call upon chaotic energy to damage and stun an enemy for a random length of time in conjunction with his power to rip holes in space to instantly strike down all that stand against him. His powers culminate into the terrifying Phantasm, creating avatars of himself who do full damage to all those who oppose him, confusing the battlefield and wreaking havoc amongst the forces of Good.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 100, melee)

1.)Chaos Bolt - A mysterious energy bolt is thrown at an enemy. It stuns for a random amount of time. Deals random damage between 1-200.
2.)Blink Strike - Teleports to a unit and strikes it if it is a foe, dealing bonus damage.
3.)Critical Strike -Nessaj's mojo gives him a chance to deal bonus damage.
4.)Phantasm - Summons several copies of the Chaos Knight from alternate dimensions. The illusions deal full damage, but take extra damage.

Axe (Mogul Kahn)

In the war of Humans and Orcs that occured long ago many Orcish warriors were corrupted by demonic influence and became tools of blackest darkness. One such warrior was the leader of the Half-Tribe of the Bloodied Axe Clan; Mogul Kahn. Mogul was slain by human Paladins but mysteriously was seen fighting alongside the Scourge around the time Mannoroth started to command the Orcs in the war against Archimonde. The Axe has been revived by demons and uses his reflexes and powerful blows to hunt down and seek out the Sentinels' agile warriors and cut them down to size, even projecting his lust for war onto them.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 125, melee)

1.)Berserker's Call - Mogul Kahn focuses all of his enemies' hatred on him, causing them to attack him at all costs.
2.)Battle Hunger - Afflicts a target with a terrible killing hunger. The target will take damage per second until it kills a unit.
3.)Counter Helix - Mogul Kahn counters some blows made to him dealing damage to all nearby enemy units.
4.)Culling Blade - Purges the weak from Mogul Kahn's sight. Deals moderate damage, but will kill a target that is low on life.

Warlock (Demnok Lannik)

Former cultist of the Blacksun, Lannik was among the first of many orcs enslaved by the wretched demons when the Legion's taint befell the lands of Kalimdor - a dire affliction that grew stronger over the years. Mannoroth's sudden and unexpected demise severed this Warlock's ties to demonology, and the absence of its corrupting influenced caused his body to wither onto the verge of death. In exchange for life beyond the grave, he bound a pact with the Lich King. A master of demons and destructive spellwork, this warlock delights in tormenting creatures of the Light, extinguishing them like candles until none are left alive.

HERO ABILITIES (Attack range of 600)

1.)Fatal Bonds - Bonds up to 5 enemy units together, causing damage dealt to any of them to be partially felt by the others.
2.)Shadow Word - A single word causes powerful magics to envelop the target. Creates a healing mechanism on a friendly target or damages an unfriendly one. Does not dispel on attack.
3.)Upheaval - Stirs up inert magic in a target area, channeling the force into a powerful slowing current that grows more powerful with every passing second it's channeled. Can channel up to 10 seconds and up to 84% slow.
4.)Rain of Chaos - Calls an Infernal down from the sky, dealing 100 damage and stunning nearby enemies for 1 second. The Infernal lasts 60 seconds, takes reduced damage from spells, has Permanent Immolation and a chance to Pulverize an area on attack.
